Nitya Kumar

Nitya Kumar is an accomplished product designer with diverse experience in UX and visual design across prominent organizations. Current involvement at Meta as a Product Designer follows a significant internship at The New York Times, where Nitya held roles in product design. Earlier experiences include a role as a UX Design Intern at Stanford University's Schmooze start-up and contributions as a Visual Editor at The Shri Ram School's Editorial Board, managing a large team. Nitya has also worked at Hindustan Times, enhancing user accessibility, and at Indigo Consulting, developing marketing campaigns. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree from Parsons School of Design, where Nitya graduated Magna cum laude, alongside studies in communication design and computer science from various institutions. Nitya actively engages in design communities as a guest critic and speaker at events such as AIGA and Boston University's design competition.
