Ria Bhargava

Ria Bhargava is a talented Software Engineer at Disruption Lab at Gies, working on the AMD Microphone Project utilizing CNN machine learning models to enhance audio quality. Currently also serving as a Consultant at Illinois Business Consulting, Ria is involved in data analytics for an insurance company and previously contributed as a tech consultant for an aerospace company at Illinois Consulting Group. Ria's academic journey includes an undergraduate research assistant role at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where innovative mathematical programming projects were developed, leading to a research presentation. Previous experiences include exhibit interpretation at The Tech Interactive and leading the Leland Peer Tutor Program. Ria has also demonstrated civic engagement as a fellow assisting senior citizens during the pandemic. Ria is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Statistics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
