Seohui Jung

Seohui (Sylvia) Jung is an accomplished engineer with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Material Science and Nanoengineering from Rice University. Experience includes serving as Vice President at The Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, where sponsorships of networking events connected Rice scientists and engineers with over 70 companies. As a research assistant at Rice University, contributions involved co-authoring research papers and working on various 3D printing projects. Roles at Tesla and Apple included internships focused on battery module engineering and product design engineering, respectively. Seohui co-founded Eggxellent Plastics through Think Beyond Plastic™, winning entry into an accelerator program, and served as a consultant for The Pangea Network to enhance their digital strategy. Currently, Seohui is a Product Design Engineer at Meta, with prior teaching experience at Rice University.
