Tara Franz is an experienced professional in UX research and user experience, currently serving as the Director of UX Research at Meta since May 2021, where leadership focuses on Meta Avatars and identity within the Metaverse. Previously, Tara held the position of Head of UX Research at Earnin and contributed significantly as UX Research Lead and Manager at Oculus VR and Facebook. Prior roles include Director of User Research at UX Guys Inc. and UX Consultant at Bell Canada, alongside various positions emphasizing research and user insights across multiple organizations. Tara's educational background includes an MA in Sociology from York University and an Honours BA in Sociology from the University of Calgary.
