Tenzing Shaw is a Software Engineer at Meta since October 2024, with a robust background in engineering leadership and software development. Prior to Meta, Tenzing served as Engineering Lead at SafeGraph, focusing on scaling point-of-interest data sourcing and leading the development of the Places product. Tenzing has also held engineering roles at LiveRamp, where responsibilities included scaling a high-throughput pixel server and building ETL pipelines, and at Omron Automotive Electronics, specializing in embedded C firmware. Earlier experience includes research assistance at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications and a teaching assistantship at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Tenzing holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Knox College.
