Tom Wisherop

Tom Wisherop has extensive experience in materials engineering and asset management, beginning a career at Chevron from May 1993 to December 2002, where responsibilities included corrosion evaluation and material selection for a significant refinery. Wisherop progressed to various leadership roles, overseeing teams focused on reliability, data management, and risk-based analytical assessments for refinery assets. Key achievements included managing the integrity of safety-sensitive data and facilitating asset data process improvements. Since January 2022, Wisherop has transitioned to Meta as the Data Center Facilities Operations Asset Onboarding Lead, where the focus is on standardizing asset data to enhance integrity and analytics. Wisherop holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of San Francisco and an Associate of Science in Welding Engineering Technology from the College of San Mateo.
