Waqqas Farooq

Waqqas Farooq is an experienced engineering manager currently at Meta, where since September 2019, focus has been on supporting multiple teams in New York and London that are dedicated to machine learning data infrastructure and services. Prior to Meta, Waqqas Farooq spent over a decade at Bloomberg LP in various software engineering management roles, overseeing significant projects such as CORE TOMS OMS and TOMS Analytics, while also leading teams responsible for the TOMS Front Office and ETOMS. Earlier career experiences include software engineering roles at MobileComplete and Bloomberg, contributing to the development of analytics for global equities and fixed income trading platforms. Waqqas Farooq holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University and has completed the High Potential Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
