Wenxiu Sun

Wenxiu Sun has extensive experience in data science and atmospheric research, with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Atmospheric Science from Cornell University and a minor in Statistics. Current role as a Data Scientist at Meta began in May 2022, following a tenure at TikTok as a Data Scientist focused on NLP methods and analytics. Prior work experience includes a Senior Data Scientist position at BloomSky, Inc., where algorithm development and product innovation led to significant commercial success and patent filings. Wenxiu has held various extern and intern roles in organizations such as the US Environmental Protection Agency, Morgan Stanley, and the United Nations, alongside research and teaching assistant responsibilities at Cornell University.
