Julian David Molano Grautoff has worked in various roles related to information security and cybersecurity. Julian David started their career at Controles Empresariales, where they worked as an Agente de mesa de ayuda from September 2010 to April 2012 and then as an Analista de seguridad de la información from April 2012 to April 2013.

After that, Julian joined DIRECTV Latin America and held several positions. Julian David worked as a Security Operations Center Analyst from May 2013 to December 2016, where they were responsible for AV administration, SIEM administration, and Waf operation. Julian David then served as an Identity and Access Management Analyst from January 2017 to December 2017. From January 2018 to March 2020, Julian worked as a Red Team Analyst, performing pentests, vulnerability assessments, and generating remediation plans for IT teams. Finally, from April 2020 to September 2022, they held the position of Red team, Fraud & Cyber threat intelligence Lead.

Currently, Julian is working as a Chief Information Security Officer Jr. at Metabase Q since September 2022. In this role, they contribute to the design and approval of a comprehensive security strategy for clients, ensures adaptability to evolving compliance regulations, and manages resources and project allocations.

Julian David Molano Grautoff completed their undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Antonio Nariño, studying from 2015 to 2020. In 2021, Julian pursued a diploma in digital forensic analysis from Universidad del CEMA. Additionally, they obtained several certifications: Ethical Hacking: Hacking Web Servers and Web Applications, Istio y Kubernetes esencial, Learning Python, Learning AWS CloudFormation, and Threat Defense Expert. In 2022, Julian plans to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and General Management from ENEB - Escuela de Negocios Europea de Barcelona. Furthermore, in 2023 and 2024, they will pursue a Specialist in Cybersecurity degree in Information Security and Systems from Universidad Autónoma de Occidente.
