Alan Thomas

Alan Thomas has a wealth of experience in operations, manufacturing, global fulfillment, purchasing, R&D, quality, and planning operations. Starting in 2020, they have been the Head of Operations at Metabolic Living, where they have been responsible for network fulfillment restructuring, procurement operations, advanced planning algorithms, R&D program development, and internal quality and regulatory programs. From 2020-2019, they were the VP of Operations at Whitsons Culinary Group, leading the packaged meals division with P&L, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, quality, purchasing, and customer service. From 2019-2015, they were the VP of Operations at 8Greens, where they implemented end-to-end operations solutions, and identified and implemented a multi-site 3PL network to support business growth. From 2015-2012, they were the VP Supply Chain, E-commerce Operations and Senior Director of Manufacturing at The Nature's Bounty Co., responsible for supply chain, product manufacturing, 3PL fulfillment and logistics, quality, regulatory, R&D, packaging development, customer service, and business operations. From 2012-2002, they were the Head of Operations and Manufacturing in the Caribbean for The Linde Group, covering Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, USVI, and Jamaica, with direct P&L responsibility for all Caribbean operations. From 2002-2001, they were the Category Supply Manager & NA Sustainability Engineer, Category Supply Chain Manager, and International Project Manager at RB, responsible for category supply chain management, cost reduction portfolios, packaging and manufacturing sustainability initiatives. Finally, in 2001, they were the Laboratory Manager -Molecular Biology Lee M Silver at Princeton University.

Alan Thomas has a diverse educational background. Alan holds a BS in Molecular Biology & Chemistry from Montclair State University, an MS/MBA in Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, and is currently enrolled in a Supply Chain Management program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Alan also has a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
