Brian Dean

Brian Dean has worked in the flooring industry since 1993. Brian began their career as a Sales Associate at GCO Carpet Outlet (currently The Floor Trader), where they sold a variety of floor covering products. Brian was the first in the franchise to receive a 1 Million Dollar Sales Award ring. Their sales increased by 35% in their first three years. In 2001, they began working at Carpet Close-Outs/Flooring Distributors as a Sales Associate/Account Manager/Store Manager. Brian was the highest-profit account manager in store history and was able to streamline operations through innovative implementation of project in - project out inventory. In 2008, they became a Flooring Consultant at Flooring Depot & Commercial Floors. Brian was responsible for assisting retail flooring store shoppers with selection and purchase of cash-and-carry or installed floorcovering for home, office or rental unit. Brian made a career-high single-sale in the fifth month on the job. In 2010, they became a Hard Surfaces Territory Manager at Mohawk Industries. In 2012, they became a Territory Manager at GreenWorld Industries, where they were responsible for representing hardwood flooring and vinyl plank flooring products imported and distributed by Bill Einhaus' company. Brian was credited with building up and transforming the Waco to San Antonio territory from a container-direct market to a strong cut order program. In 2013, they became a Tarkett Account Manager at Building Plastics, Inc (bpi). Brian was hired specifically to launch the Tarkett Residential Resilient lines of flooring products to a huge territory. In 2017, they began working at 50 Floor as a Flooring Specialist and at Inside Sources Flooring LLC as President. Most recently, in 2022, they became an Onboarding Specialist / Sales Representative at Metabolic.

Brian Dean attended Mississippi State University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a B.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
