Samaneh Tabatabaei

Samaneh Tabatabaei has a diverse work experience in the field of analytical chemistry. Samaneh'smost recent position is as the Head of Analytical Chemistry at Yield10 Bioscience, where they lead method development for analytical and general chemistry projects. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Analytical Scientist at Waters Corporation, conducting research and development of new products in specialty measurement. Samaneh also worked as a Senior Analytical Chemist at Moses Lake Industries, focusing on developing analytical testing methods for polymers in the semiconductor industry. Earlier in their career, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Washington State University, where they conducted research on fuel cells, surface characteristics of parasites and blood cells, and genetic mutation in plants.

Samaneh Tabatabaei completed their education at Washington State University. Samaneh obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics, specializing in Semiconductors in 2012. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Engineering and completed it in 2015. In addition to their academic achievements, Samaneh also obtained certifications in System Thinking from MIT Professional Education in March 2023, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Purdue University in December 2020, and Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute in August 2020.
