Markus Nissinen

Markus Nissinen has a diverse work experience in the field of art and marketing. Markus is currently working at Metacore as a Marketing Artist, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Futureplay Games in the same role from February 2019 to January 2023. Before that, Markus worked at Red Shirt Games as a Game Artist/Lead Artist (Student Project) from January 2018 to September 2018. During this time, they were responsible for creating UI art, game art, and concepts for multiple mobile games and prototypes. Markus also has teaching experience as a part-time teacher at Centria University of Applied Sciences from August 2013 to May 2016. Markus taught various media and art-related courses such as 3D modeling, game art photography, video production, animation, and film theory.

Markus Nissinen attended the University of Lapland from 2006 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Audiovisual Media Culture.
