Mircea Staicu

Mircea Staicu has worked in a variety of roles in the marketing and communications industry. In 2022, they began working as the Content Lead for Metafy. Prior to that, they were the Head of Content and Marketing Manager for GamerzClass from 2019-2022. At GamerzClass, they assisted and coordinated with the entire marketing department to create campaigns, managed social media, content, copywriting, PR, and media. Mircea was also an Influencer Marketing Intern for Hooves from 2019-2020, where they cold contacted, negotiated prices, and booked collaborations with influencers, managed community on social media, and achieved over 300% growth in daily active users after a month. From 2018-2019, they were a Digital Marketing Intern for filmstudio.dk, where they handled the marketing aspects of the business to grow the brand and help bring in clients. Additionally, they were a Communications and Marketing Intern for Welcome Group Consulting from 2018-2019, where they developed content and event marketing strategies, assisted with setting the Brand DNA, and produced a promotional video.

Mircea Staicu obtained a European Baccalaureate from Ecole Européenne de Bruxelles I in Languages & Mathematics from 2007 to 2011. Mircea then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Public Relations from Universitatea “Babeș-Bolyai” din Cluj-Napoca from 2012 to 2015. Finally, they received a Master of Arts - MA in Business/Corporate Communications from Aarhus University from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they have obtained Digital Sales Certification and Google Ads Fundamentals from Google in July 2019.
