Gareth Wilson

Gareth Wilson currently serves as the VP of Games and Solutions at MetaGravity, a role initiated in November 2023, where responsibilities include leading Metagravity Studios and developing innovative multiplayer IPs. Prior to this position, Gareth held the role of Creative Director and Head of AIM at TT Games Ltd from May 2019 to November 2023, overseeing new IP development teams. Earlier experience includes serving as Design Director at Sumo Digital from February 2011 to May 2019 with creative leadership on Crackdown 3 and managing the relationship with Sega for the Sonic All Stars franchise. Gareth also worked as Design Manager at Bizarre Creations from December 2003 to February 2011, where responsibilities encompassed managing design teams and overseeing significant titles like Project Gotham Racing 3. The career began as a Designer at Destiny Star Ltd from May 2001 to December 2003 and was preceded by experience as a Games Recruitment Consultant at Mayfield Curzon Associates from December 1998 to February 2001. Gareth holds a Master’s degree with Distinction in Computing from The Manchester Metropolitan University and a BA in Economics from The University of Sheffield.
