Dan Fitzgerald has a solid background in the music industry, having worked in various roles for several prominent record labels and music publishing companies. Dan started their career in 1987 at Hits Magazine, where they worked in retail marketing for seven years. In 1994, they joined Columbia Records as the Director of Metal Retail, a position they held until 1996. Dan then moved on to Noise Records, where they served as the Head of Sales for a year. In 1997, they joined Metal Blade Records as the VP of Sales and Marketing. In 1998, Dan Fitzgerald started their own company, Prosthetic Records, which they still own. In 2005, they also founded Prosthesis International Music Publishing. Throughout their career, Fitzgerald has gained extensive experience in sales, marketing, and retail in the music industry.
Dan Fitzgerald attended California State University, Northridge from 1985 to 1988. During this period, they pursued a major in Classical Guitar. However, no information regarding the completion of a degree or any other field of study is available.
