Dalia Ornelas Huerta

Dalia Ornelas Huerta has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2011 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Universidad de Guanajuato. In 2012, they began working as a Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland, where they built and designed an experimental apparatus, laser systems, and a single-photon detection system. In 2020, they became a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles, and in 2021, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Optical Metrology Tech Lead at metalenz.

Dalia Ornelas Huerta has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Physics from the University of Maryland, which they obtained between 2012 and 2020. Dalia also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics from the Universidad de Guanajuato, which they obtained between 2007 and 2012. Additionally, they have a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera, which they obtained in January 2018.
