Mayin Ehinlaiye has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. In 2018, they worked as a Geology Intern at TEAM Engineering SpA and later as an Undergraduate Intern at Schlumberger. In 2020, they served as a Corp Member for the National Youth Service Corps. That same year, Mayin also worked as a Graduate Intern at Matpatson Petroleum Services Limited. In 2021, they had a brief role as a Data Analytics Consultant and Public Speaker for a side hustle. Currently, Mayin is employed as a Mine and Site Manager at Metalex Commodities Inc.
Mayin Ehinlaiye attended the Federal University of Petroleum Resources from 2015 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Sciences.
In addition to their degree, Mayin Ehinlaiye has obtained several certifications and completed various training programs. In February 2022, they completed certifications in "Analyzing and Predicting Heart Failure on IBM Cloud," "Data Science & Analytics Intro," "Data Science Fundamentals," "Identify Potential Repeat Customers for your Business," "Predicting Employee Turnover Using IBM Watson Studio," and "Python" from IBM. They also completed a certification in "Data Types for Data Science in Python" and "Introduction to Data Science in Python" from DataCamp in December 2021.
Other certifications include "Data Analytics with Excel" from Side Hustle in November 2021, "Fellow of the Geological Society of London" from The Geological Society in November 2021, "Leading Change Forum" from LEAD FOOTPRINTS AFRICA in November 2021, "Soft-Skills Training" from Jobberman Youth Engagement & Learning in October 2021, and "Think Circular Requisite Mindset for a Sustainable Food Future" from Zero Food Waste Initiative in October 2021.
Mayin Ehinlaiye also completed certifications and training programs in "Implementation of GIS Technology in Modern Development" from Team 2020 Helpers in June 2021, "Green Switch Academy" from Plogging Nigeria in May 2021, and "National Youth Service Corps" from the National Youth Service Corps in February 2021.
They obtained a "Certificate of Membership" from the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists in September 2017. Moreover, Mayin Ehinlaiye received recognition with a "Certificate of Appreciation" from the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists in November 2022 and completed a training program on "Going Places with Spatial Analysis" from Esri in June 2022. They also successfully finished the "Google Africa Developer Training Program" offered by Google developers in May 2022.
