Sissi Liu

Sissi Liu has a wealth of work experience that spans from 2006 to 2018. In 2006, they served as Fund Manager of the SEED Fund for the MA Renewable Energy Trust and was a Board Observer for Lilliputian Systems Inc. and Konarka Technologies. From 2009 to 2016, they were the Head of North American Business Development at Joule Unlimited, where they held an instrumental role in cementing and expanding strategic partnership between Joule and Audi, and directed government relations activities. During this time, they also served as a Mentor for the MIT Venture Mentoring Service and the Cleantech Open, and as a Director of Board for Cerahelix. In 2017, they became a Catalyst for the MIT Deshpande Center and a Judge and Mentor for MassChallenge, where they mentored the Gold-level winner, CoolComposites. Finally, in 2018, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of Metalmark Innovations.

Sissi Liu holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University, where they studied Public Policy - Environment and Natural Resource. Sissi also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College, where they studied Economics and Math.
