Vitalis Ntomprougkidis is an experienced researcher in the field of materials science, currently serving as Chargé de Projet R&D at Metalor Technologies SA since January 2023. Previously, Ntomprougkidis worked as a Research Engineer at Université Clermont Auvergne, focusing on the development and characterization of bismuth-based composite nanoparticles for photocatalytic applications. Prior experience includes research roles at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy, where Ntomprougkidis conducted performance analysis of faculty, and at Institut Jean Lamour, where the investigation of coating growth during plasma electrolytic oxidation was central to a PhD project. Initial research work included internships at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, involving the study of magnetic nanoparticles. Ntomprougkidis holds a PhD in Plasma Physics - Material Science from Universite de Lorraine and degrees in Materials Physics and Technology, as well as Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
