Uzi Sasson

Uzi Sasson is a seasoned finance and operations executive currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Meta Materials Inc. since April 2023. Previously, Uzi held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Fabric Systems, where responsibility included structuring a finance organization for an IPO. As Executive Vice President and CFO at Eat Just, Inc., Uzi built a successful finance team and facilitated fundraising for a plant-based food company. Uzi's earlier experience includes leadership roles at IXYS Corporation, where as President and CEO, oversight encompassed a $500M+ enterprise. Uzi also served as Global Vice President of Tax at Mercury Interactive and advanced to Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Uzi holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master's Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University and has served as an instructor in the MS Taxation Program at San Jose State University.
