Gagandeep Singh

Gagandeep Singh has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Gagandeep started their career as an Engineer Trainee at SharedReach in September 2013. Gagandeep then worked as a Software Engineer, Product Engineer, and Senior Product Engineer in the company from April 2014 to March 2019. During this time, they focused on web application development using Python-Django and also developed AI-based solutions using computer vision and deep learning techniques.

In November 2020, Gagandeep joined LanzaTech as an Associate Software Architect in Scientific Computing. Here, they collaborated with a team of programmers, software architects, and computational biologists to develop web applications supporting R&D and commercial operations. Gagandeep leveraged their Python development skills and cloud platform knowledge to create web-based applications integrating real-time data from reactors.

Currently, Gagandeep is working at MetaOptima Technology Inc. as a Senior Backend Engineer. Gagandeep was recruited remotely from India and later joined the headquarters office in Vancouver, Canada. In this role, they are responsible for developing and enhancing the company's backend infrastructure, optimizing the core web application, databases, and cloud infrastructure. Gagandeep collaborates with a small but efficient team of software engineers and testers.

Gagandeep Singh completed their education from 1995 to 2009 at Salwan Public School, where they obtained a Senior Secondary degree in the field of Non-Medical. Following this, they pursued a B.Tech degree in Computer Science Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, in June 2021, they obtained a certification in "Docker and Kubernetes: The Complete Guide" from Udemy.
