Parminder Benipal

Parminder Benipal's work experience begins in 2009 with SLR Infotech Pvt. Ltd, where they worked as a Software Developer/Designer, gaining experience in Microsoft .NET technologies. In 2009, they also worked as a Network Administrator at First Flight Couriers Limited.

In 2011, they joined the Genome Sciences Centre, BC Cancer Agency, where they worked as a Virtualization Expert, focusing on virtualization technologies for research work. They also served as a Client Support Technician during their time there.

In 2012, Parminder started working at Best Buy as a Computer Specialist and at Global Life for Children Society as a Web Developer.

They joined IBM Canada Ltd. in 2013, working as a Software Developer and gaining experience in developing service-oriented Java enterprise applications. They also worked as a Software Test Analyst during this time.

In 2014, Parminder worked as a Research Assistant at Digital Health Hub, focusing on open-source technologies and developing applications for the healthcare industry.

Finally, in 2015, they joined MetaOptima Technology Inc. as a Backend Engineer. They later took on roles as a Lead Software Engineer, Software Engineer Manager, and currently holds the position of Director Of Technology.

Parminder Benipal obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Systems from Simon Fraser University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, Parminder attended Thompson Rivers University from 2008 to 2010, where they pursued Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Parminder also holds various certifications, including the AU - Management Systems Auditing v2.0 from BSI, obtained in January 2016, the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon, obtained in December 2018, and the Certified for completing learning in Vb.net & ASP.net on .net 2010 platform from Microsoft, obtained in July 2009. Parminder also holds the certifications of Associate Cloud Architect from Amazon Web Services and ISO 13485:2016 Internal Auditor (TPECS) and MD - Medical Devices Quality Management Systems v2.0 from BSI, although the dates of obtaining these certifications are not specified.
