David Jayatillake

David Jayatillake has held several roles in the past 13 years. David began their career in 2009 as an Assistant Tax Advisor at EY. In 2010, they moved to Ocado Group as a Strategy & Trading Analyst. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at Worldpay in various roles, including Senior Pricing Manager, Pricing Manager, Scheme Fees Manager, Senior Business Analyst, and Business Analyst. In 2017, they joined Elevate Credit International Limited as the Head of BI & Analytics, where they were responsible for championing Data Warehouse migration to cloud, reporting and insight for product, marketing, finance, compliance/legal, and developing and maintaining product funnel measures and KPIs. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Lyst as Senior Director of Data, Director of BI & Analytics, and Business Intelligence Lead. David is currently employed at Metaplane as Head of Data and Avora as Chief Product & Strategy Officer.

David Jayatillake's education history includes obtaining a Mathematics with Management and Finance BSc from King's College London between 2006 and 2009, followed by an ACMA from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants between 2011 and 2014. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from DataRobot, DataCamp, and other institutions, including Data Scientist with Python, Cleaning Data in R, Data Manipulation in R with dplyr, Importing Data in R (Part 1), Intermediate R, Intermediate R - Practice, Introduction to R, and Writing Functions in R.
