Jon Romcke

Jon Romcke serves as the Executive Chair of Metarock Group Limited since September 2023 and has been the Managing Director of VIVID Mining Advisory Services P/L since 2016. Prior experience includes holding the position of Chief Executive Officer at Allegiance Coal Limited from May 2022 to June 2023 and General Manager Development at Stanmore Resources Limited from August 2017 to May 2022, overseeing operations of the Isaac Plains coal mine. Additional roles comprise Interim Chief Executive Officer at Stanmore Coal Limited and Safety Health and Environment Manager at Anglo American Metallurgical Coal. Jon Romcke managed the Iron Ore Asset group at Sphere Minerals Limited, served as Project Director for the El Aouj Iron Ore Project with Glencore International, and held various roles with Xstrata, including Group Manager Business Development. Jon's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from the University of Wollongong.
