CTO at METATRUST

Tom H. has extensive work experience in various technology leadership roles. Tom is currently the Group CTO at Ziegert Group, a position they have held since November 2020. Prior to that, they served as the CTO at METATRUST and Ziegert EverEstate GmbH, both in 2020.

From 2016 to 2020, Tom worked at Scope SE & Co. KGaA, where they held multiple positions including Managing Director, Head of Technology, and Executive Director, Head of Application Development Technology. In these roles, they oversaw product, UX, engineering, data, and IT across four entities in the Scope Group. Tom was responsible for digitalizing the Credit Rating business with the ScopeOne Credit Analysis and Risk Assessment platform.

Before joining Scope Group, Tom worked at Deutsche Bank as Vice President, Rates and Credit IT from September 2015 to September 2016. Prior to that, they were a Vice President, Global Technology at J.P. Morgan from October 2013 to September 2015. Tom also worked at ION Trading as part of the Fixed Income Pricing and Analytics Development team in 2013.

Earlier in their career, Tom held various positions at 360T Trading Networks, BlackRock, and Moreover Technologies. Tom worked as a Senior Software Developer / Technical Lead at 360T Trading Networks from October 2011 to March 2013. At BlackRock, they held roles such as Vice President, Design and Development Manager, Team Leader, and Systems Developer from 2004 to 2010. Prior to that, they were a Senior Systems Engineer at Moreover Technologies from September 1999 to June 2004.

Tom H. completed their undergraduate education at the University of Bath from 1997 to 2003, earning a 1st Class BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Software Theory. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Continuing Studies in French Language from City, University of London. Tom also holds a CFA Charterholder qualification from the CFA Institute. Furthermore, Tom completed a Diplôme de Français Professionnel Affaires B2 (Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris) at Institut Français, Londres.
