Barry Curtis

Barry Curtis has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Barry is currently serving as the Head of IT Delivery at Metcash since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Suncorp Group from 2017 to 2021, holding roles such as Executive Manager and Senior Digital Portfolio Manager. At Suncorp, they led multiple delivery teams and was responsible for various digital initiatives. Before joining Suncorp, Barry worked at The Travel Corporation as a Project Manager in 2016 and at Air New Zealand in various roles from 2008 to 2016. These roles included Portfolio & Platform Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Head of Talent Acquisition, Talent Acquisition Team Leader, and Talent Acquisition Consultant. Barry's responsibilities at Air New Zealand ranged from managing IT infrastructure operations to leading the in-house recruitment function. Prior to that, they worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Candle.

Barry Curtis attended Presentation College, Carlow from 1990 to 1995. Barry then pursued a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Social Policy and Sociology at University College Dublin, graduating in 1999. In 2001 and 2002, they attended UCD Smurfit School of Business, obtaining a Diploma in Business and IT.
