Zach Metzinger

Zach Metzinger is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in the fields of microcontrollers and RF systems. Currently, at METECS since February 2022, Zach focuses on the certification of NASA's cFS for the Lunar Gateway mission and software development for the Power and Propulsion Element. Previously, Zach held the position of Principal Member of Technical Staff at Analog Devices, contributing to low-power Medical and Industrial microcontroller innovations. With a long tenure at Maxim Integrated Products, Zach specialized in product definition and secure environments. Earlier roles included RF Systems Engineer at Microtune and UNIX/Network System Administrator at White Rock Networks. Zach holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Communication and Networking, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, both from Kansas State University.
