Johannes Rausch

Johannes Rausch has a strong background in meteorology and NWP (Numerical Weather Prediction) systems. Johannes is currently serving as the Head of NWP at Meteomatics AG since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Meteorological developer at MetService New Zealand from November 2017 to June 2021. Before that, Johannes held the role of NWP system designer and data assimilation expert at UBIMET from October 2006 to July 2017.

Johannes Rausch completed an Engineer's degree in Technische Informatik at HTL Donaustadt from 1999 to 2004. Johannes then pursued further education at the University of Vienna, where they obtained a Master's degree in Meteorologie from 2005 to 2012.
