Jan-Victor Björkqvist

Jan-Victor Björkqvist is a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Norwegian Meteorological Institute since July 2021. Previously, they worked as a Research Scientist at the Finnish Meteorological Institute starting from May 2012. In addition, they served as a Visiting Lecturer at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology from January 2021 to June 2021. Jan-Victor also has experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Helsinki, where they worked from January 2009 to March 2021.

Jan-Victor Björkqvist completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2005 to 2012, they attended the University of Helsinki, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematics. Following this, they pursued their academic career at the same institution and enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Geophysics from 2013 to 2020.
