Cathy Binstead

Cathy Binstead has a diverse range of experience in human resources and business operations. Cathy most recently worked as the Director of Global HR at Methanex Corporation, where they led HR initiatives for the Corporate Services, Marketing, and Logistics departments. Prior to that, Cathy held various roles at ICBC, including Manager of Total Rewards and HR Operations. Cathy has also worked as a Manager of HR, Workforce Planning, and Recruitment at Catalyst Paper and as a Human Resources Manager at OSI Maritime Systems. Additionally, Cathy has experience as a Manager of HR Operations at BC Lottery Corporation and as a Regional Manager of Human Resources and Business Operations at Sierra Systems. Cathy also served as the Senior Manager of HR and Workforce Services and Operations at the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Cathy Binstead obtained a Human Resources Management Post Graduate Certificate in Business Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2010. Cathy also earned a Business Management Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources from the same institute between 2006 and 2009. In addition to their degrees, Cathy has obtained several certifications including Everything DiSC® Certification, Organization Design Practitioner, Lean Green Belt Certification, Certified MBTI Practitioner, and Leadership Coach.
