Christo Janse van Rensburg

Christo Janse van Rensburg has diverse work experience in the energy industry. From 2006 to 2017, they worked at Sasol Synfuels International (Pty) Ltd., where they held various roles including Process Engineer, Area Manager, Commissioning Manager, and Production Area Manager. Since 2017, they have been employed by Methanex Corporation, initially as Technical Manager and later as Manager of Turnarounds, Manager of Projects and Planning, and currently as Director of Commercial. In their roles, they have demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, leadership, and managing stakeholder relationships.

Christo Janse van Rensburg completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of Pretoria from 2002 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Masters in Business Administration at Stellenbosch University from 2012 to 2014. Christo also holds an additional certification in MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
