Laurent van Wulpen

Laurent Van Wulpen has diverse work experience in the chemical industry. Laurent started their career with Methanex Europe NV/SA as a Procurement Manager in 2003 before progressing to the role of Senior Sales Manager and then Manager of Customer Service & Logistics. In 2016, they joined Methanex Europe as a Manager of Operations, where they oversaw day-to-day operations. In 2018, they became the Director of Operations at Methanex Europe sa/nv. In the same year, they also joined Carbon Recycling International as a Board Member. Finally, in 2019, they took on the role of Strategic Development Director at Methanex Corporation, and eventually became the Global Director of Strategic Development.

Laurent Van Wulpen completed a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Antwerp, Belgium in 1995-1996. Before that, they obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Civil Engineering, Shipbuilding from the Universidad de Cantabria in 1994-1995. Prior to that, they earned an Engineer's degree in Civil Engineering / Shipbuilding from the University of Ghent, Belgium from 1989-1995. Laurent completed their secondary education at KAIII Voskenslaan, Gent, Belgium from 1983-1989.
