Melissa Wood

Melissa Wood has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as the Director of Global HR - Manufacturing at Methanex Corporation since February 2014. Throughout their tenure at Methanex, Melissa has held various roles, including Senior Advisor and Global HR Business Partner. Prior to joining Methanex, Melissa worked at Rio Tinto Diamonds as HR Superintendent and HR Business Partner, and at Serco as HR Advisor. Additional early career roles include HR Coordinator at the Mystery Creek Events Centre and involvement in HR Projects at Mighty River Power. Melissa holds a double major Bachelor of Management Studies in Human Resources and Economics from the University of Waikato and also attended Te Wananga o Aotearoa in 2022.
