Monica Rodriguez, RN has over twenty years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Monica currently holds the position of Director of Business & Clinical Development, US at Methinks AI, starting in May 2023. Prior to this role, Monica worked at RapidAI from February 2018 to August 2022, where they held the positions of Sr. Enterprise Account Executive and Regional VP of Sales / Clinical Specialist. At RapidAI, Monica played a crucial role in sales and new account development, focusing on hospitals, IDNs, and health system accounts in the Central US.

Before working at RapidAI, Monica worked at Medtronic from August 2015 to February 2018 as a Senior Medical Safety Specialist / Senior Clinical Research Specialist. Their responsibilities included meeting global safety reporting requirements, assessing adverse events, and interpreting and analyzing safety data. Additionally, Monica prepared regulatory documents, led clinical events committee meetings, and provided clinical education.

Prior to their role at Medtronic, Monica worked at Providence Health & Services from August 2010 to August 2015. During this time, they held the positions of Senior Clinical Research Nurse / Stroke Coordinator and Clinical Documentation Nurse Specialist. In their role as a Stroke Coordinator, Monica managed stroke and neurosurgery trials, supported investigators, and spearheaded the implementation of RapidAI's platform at two large facilities. Monica also played a key role in the implementation of the Epic system, providing training and support.

Earlier in their career, Monica worked at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center as a Senior Clinical Research Nurse and Post-Liver Transplant Coordinator from November 2006 to October 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Critical Care Registered Nurse specializing in solid organ transplant at UCLA & UCSF Medical Centers from November 2003 to November 2006. Monica began their healthcare career in the United States Air Force as a Surgical Technologist from 1993 to 1996.

Monica Rodriguez, RN has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix. Monica also holds an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from LA County College of Nursing. In addition, they have obtained the CCRP certification from The Society of Clinical Research Associates in May 2015.
