Alex Koundourakis, PMP, DASM, CSM, MSc

Alex Koundourakis has progressive work experience beginning in 2001 and is currently employed at Starr Insurance Companies as a Program/Project Manager. Alex's previous roles include positions at Method360, Inc., Summit Health, Massachusetts General Hospital, Mass General Brigham, Northeastern University, AVAX GROUP, and ELLAKTOR GROUP. Notable achievements include building and leading a local PMO, managing the implementation of a PM tool, coordinating the integration of biomedical device management and electronic medical record systems, and overseeing large-scale construction projects. Alex holds several certifications including PMP, DASM, and CSM, and has a Master's degree.

Alex Koundourakis, PMP, DASM, CSM, MSc has a Master's Degree in Project Management from Northeastern University, obtained in 2015. Alex also holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). Furthermore, Alex has completed a certificate program in Communication in Business from Harvard Extension School. In terms of additional certifications, Alex has obtained the DASM certification from the Project Management Institute in March 2021. Alex also holds the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance, obtained in December 2018. Lastly, Alex is a Project Management Professional and obtained this certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2014. Additionally, Alex has completed a program on Creating a Career Plan from LinkedIn in January 2019. Alex also pursued additional coursework in communication studies at Harvard Extension School.
