Gabriela Ornelas

Gabriela Ornelas has extensive experience in managed care, negotiating successful agreements with health plans, medical groups, and third party payers. Gabriela has held positions as Director of Managed Care at Methodist Hospital of Southern California, Dignity Health, and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). At Dignity Health, they executed 97 rate and language agreements and amendments for hospital services, totaling over $450 million. At CHLA, they restructured the rate schedule, resulting in an 80% revenue increase in the first year of implementation. Overall, Gabriela Ornelas has a proven track record in managing contracting needs and exceeding negotiation goals.

Gabriela Ornelas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Gabriela further pursued their education and obtained a Masters of Arts degree in Religious Studies from Mount Saint Mary's University between 2004 and 2006. Currently, Gabriela is pursuing a Master of Health Administration degree at the University of Southern California.
