James Schindler is the Founding Program Director Family Medicine Residency at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Prior to this role, James served as a Family Physician at Hamblen Primary Care and as the President of Schindler Medical LLC. With previous experience as the Vice-chairman of Family Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and the Director of Urban Family Medicine at UT-Houston School of Medicine, James has a strong background in graduate medical education. Schindler holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Maternal and Child Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Baylor College of Medicine.
