Jan Arrant has an extensive work experience spanning over multiple positions in the media and healthcare industry. Jan started their career at KAMC as a Reporter/Producer in 1987. Jan then moved to WKOW-TV and worked as an Executive Producer from 1989 to 1995. Following that, they served as the News Director at KWCH-TV from 1995 to 2000. In 2003, Jan joined Texas Cable News as the Executive Producer until 2015. During this time, they also worked as an Intern Coordinator/Election Producer at WFAA-TV from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they joined the Methodist Richardson Medical Center as the Director of Community and Public Relations, where they are responsible for developing and executing specialized communication plans, negotiating marketing agreements, organizing special events, and handling social media accounts.
Jan Arrant attended Texas Tech University from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a degree in Journalism. In November 2015, they also obtained an additional certification in Inbound from HubSpot.
