Marcel van der Heijden

Marcel van der Heijden is the current Director at Metis Labs. Prior to this, they were a Partner at Speedinvest from January 2013 to April 2021. At Speedinvest, Marcel worked with early-stage entrepreneurs to build great companies in the digital startup space. Marcel has also held positions as Market Development Manager at Vodafone and Product/Program Manager at Fenestrae. In their role as Product Manager Mobile Internet at vodafone, Marcel was responsible for launching the mobile internet service for the Dutch market.

Marcel van der Heijden has a Masters in Physics from the University of Amsterdam and a PhD in Physics from Leiden University.
