Kaiqi Sun, Ph.D.

Kaiqi Sun, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2021. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Graduate Researcher at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. In 2014, they took on an Intern role at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and in 2015, they were a PhD Intern- R&D Program Management at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at McKinsey & Company, where they held the roles of Engagement Manager, Asia Healthcare Data Solution Leader, Engagement Manager, and Associate. Currently, they are the VP, Head of New Product Planning and RNA Drug Discovery at METiS Therapeutics.

Kaiqi Sun, Ph.D. began their educational journey in 2007 when they earned their Bachelor's degree from Central South University. In 2016, they completed a course in Life Sciences Entrepreneurship at Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from UT MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in 2017.
