Kevin Liu

Kevin Liu has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Kevin is currently working as a Decentralization Coordinator at the MetisDAO Foundation, starting in November 2022. Before that, they were a Co-Founder of Metis, a company they established in January 2019.

Prior to their roles at Metis, Kevin co-founded Token Economy Labs Inc. in June 2018, where they helped build the community in Canada and the United States. Kevin was also involved in the strategic development of StarsChina Technology Ltd., where they served as the VP of Strategic Development from November 2011 to September 2015, and as VP from September 2015 to June 2018.

Kevin began their career in the investment banking sector, working as a Senior Investment Manager at Analysys International, Investment Bank Unit from May 2010 to November 2011. Kevin also served as an Investment Manager at Novel SuperTV (NYSE: STV) from November 2006 to May 2010.

Kevin's earliest work experience was at IBM Ltd., where they started as a Brand Marketing Specialist in March 2003 and worked until October 2005.

Kevin Liu completed their Bachelor's Degree in Management from Tianjin University in the years 1997 to 2001. Kevin then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2005 to 2007. In terms of additional certifications, Kevin obtained various certificates, including CFA from the CFA Institute in June 2017 and Business Analytics from the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School in March 2017. Kevin also obtained certifications in Accounting Analytics, Customer Analytics, Operations Analytics, and People Analytics from Coursera Course Certificates in January 2017. Furthermore, Kevin is certified in Google Analytics (obtained in November 2016) and holds the AdWords Search Certification from Google (obtained in December 2016).
