Daniel Waddell

Daniel Waddell is an experienced technology professional specializing in cloud engineering and software architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Cloud Engineer at MetLife since July 2023, Waddell has previously held significant roles at Humana, including Principal Cloud Architect and Lead Cloud Architect. With a diverse background, Waddell has also worked as a Solution Architect at HMB, Senior Software Engineer at ScholarRX, and Enterprise Architect at Jefferson County Public Schools. Additional experience includes founding Code Cannon LLC and DapJack LLC, and various positions at CBTS, ADP, and Heartland Payment Systems. Waddell holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the Speed School of Engineering at the University of Louisville, a Master’s in Teaching from Spalding University, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Morehead State University.
