Susan Greenwell

Susan Greenwell serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Government Relations at MetLife, leading a team of 35 professionals across various regions, including the US, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. In this role, Greenwell advises business leaders on political, regulatory, and legislative matters. Previously held positions at MetLife include Senior Vice President and Head of International Government Relations, VP in the Office of the Chairman & CEO, and VP and Chief of Staff to the President, International. Greenwell is an active member of several boards, including the Americas Society/Council of the Americas, Business Council for International Understanding, and The Korea Society. Additional experience includes roles as Program Officer at the Columbia | SIPA Weatherhead East Asian Institute and the American Forum for Global Education, as well as editorial assistance for the UNDP on China’s National Human Development Report. Greenwell holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia | SIPA and a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from Furman University.
