Artem Tabalin has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Artem is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Metomic, where they focus on helping companies protect sensitive data in SaaS applications. Prior to this, Artem worked at Meta as an Engineering Lead, leading a team responsible for enhancing the customer experience of one of the largest notification platforms in the world. Artem also worked at Fivetran, first as a Lead Software Engineer and then as the Director of Engineering, where they built and led engineering teams, designed product features, and implemented agile principles in the development process. Before Fivetran, Artem held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Criteo, a Lead Software Engineer at Developer Express Inc., and a Senior Software Engineer at Vimpelcom, where they gained experience in software development, team management, and growing development teams. Artem began their career as a Software Engineer at LTD NPF "Everest".

Artem Tabalin attended Bauman Moscow State Technical University from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Master's degree in Economics and Management at Enterprise. During the same period, they also pursued another Master's degree in Software for Computers and Automation Systems at the same university. Prior to Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Artem studied at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) from 2000 to 2003, focusing on Mathematics and Physics. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in "Getting Started with Google Kubernetes Engine" from Coursera Course Certificates in May 2018.
