Tobias Heiskanen has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Tobias started their career as a Cook and Sous Chef in various high-end restaurants in Helsinki. Tobias then worked in Lapland Safaris as a Kitchen Manager and Development Manager, where they also took on the role of a Tour Guide for international customers. Tobias later joined Tallink Silja Oy as a Line Cook and then served as a Lance Corporal in the Finnish Defence Forces. Following that, Tobias worked at Royal Ravintolat Oy and Restaurant Nili as a Cook and Sous Chef.

In 2008, Tobias became a Business Owner of Cafe Toivo, which they managed until 2011. Tobias then transitioned to Metos Oy Ab / Metos Group, where they held various roles including Sales Representative, Training and Applications Manager, Key Account Manager, and Product Manager/International Chain Account Manager. Currently, Tobias is the Head of Product Management at Metos Group, responsible for managing a team and overseeing the product portfolio.

Throughout their career, Tobias has gained experience in project sales, kitchen operations, design planning, negotiation, portfolio management, pricing, and new product launches. Tobias has also implemented digital systems for HACCP, task management, and food waste management in hotel chains.

Overall, Tobias Heiskanen has a strong background in the foodservice industry with expertise in product management, sales, and kitchen operations.

Tobias Heiskanen completed a Specialist Vocational Qualification in Leadership and Business Management at Careeria from 2021 to 2023.
