Marcus Bergman

Marcus Bergman has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Marcus has been with Metria since 2017, initially as a Business Area Manager and currently as the Head of Strategy and Business Development. Marcus joined Geoforum Sverige as a Board Member in 2018 and later became a Board Member at Geoforum Sverige Service AB in 2020. Before that, Marcus worked as a Business Area Manager at Scanmast from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Strategy and Business Development at Orbion Consulting from 2012 to 2015. Marcus also worked as a Business Area Manager at Vattenfall from 2010 to 2012 and as a Market Area Manager at ÅF from 2009 to 2010. Marcus began their career as a Consultant and eventually Head of Department at SWECO from 2000 to 2009. Marcus started their professional journey as a Technical Consultant at WSP Sverige in 1998.

Marcus Bergman attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Civil Engineering. In 2013, they enrolled at Stockholm School of Economics and completed the Civilingenjörsprogrammet IFL, a program in Business Economics and Business Development, in 2014.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Marcus Bergman has obtained a certification from NVE (Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate) for embankment dams in all classes.
