William Ellis

William Ellis has extensive work experience in quality engineering and QA roles. William currently serves as the Quality Engineering Lead at Metrikus since 2023. Prior to this, they were the QA Lead at Lyte from 2022 to 2023, where they managed a team of eight engineers and oversaw QA operations across various platforms and clients. Before that, they worked as a QA Lead at Event Genius from 2021 to 2022, leading QA efforts for a ticket management platform and running performance tests. William also has experience as the Interim Head of QA at Arachnys in 2020 and as a Senior QA Engineer at the same company from 2019 to 2020. William was responsible for developing QA strategy, reducing defects, and coaching Agile teams. Additionally, they worked as a Test Lead and Test Engineer at Arts Alliance Media from 2014 to 2019, as a QA Engineer at d3 Technologies Ltd. from 2012 to 2014, as a d3 technician at UNITED VISUAL ARTISTS in 2011, and as a Junior Test Engineer at Frontier Silicon from 2010 to 2011.

William Ellis attended The University of Sheffield from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2011, they obtained a certification in Certified Tester (Foundation Level) from ISTQB/ISEB.
