Thomas Hill has worked in the scientific field for over a decade. In 2009, they began working as a DMPK Scientist for UCB Pharma as part of the Economic Challenge Investment Fund Biopharma Internship program. In 2014, they moved to GW Pharmaceuticals as a Pharmacology Projects Manager, managing pharmacology programs for a variety of different disease areas. In 2016, they became a Postdoctoral Researcher for RCSI. In 2020, they joined Charles River Laboratories as a Technology Development Team Lead and Sample Preparation Scientist. In 2021, they moved to Excalibur Healthcare Services Ltd as an Assistant Lab Manager & Shift Lead, and then to Charles River Laboratories again as a Senior Scientist II. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Metrion Biosciences as a Senior Scientist.

Thomas Hill completed their education history in the following order: The King's School Ely (1989-2002), Hills Road Sixth Form College (2002-2004), London South Bank University (2005-2008), University of Surrey (2008-2009), and University of Reading (2011-2015). Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science from London South Bank University, a Master of Science in Toxicology from University of Surrey, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuropharmacology from University of Reading.
