Dorelle Hinton, PhD, is an accomplished scientific and medical writer and editor, currently serving as the Founder of The Editing Nomad since July 2020 and as a Freelance Editor for Lawrina since April 2021. In previous roles, Dorelle led the Communications team at New Incentives and provided writing support for various projects, including grant applications and literature reviews. Dorelle has extensive teaching experience as a sessional instructor at multiple universities, creating and delivering online course content in biomechanics and motor control. From 2015 to 2020, Dorelle conducted research at McGill University, focusing on the neural control of locomotion and achieving significant funding for academic pursuits. Dorelle holds a PhD in Biomechanics and Motor Control from McGill University, an MSc in Gait Biomechanics, and a BSc in Human Kinetics, all of which underline a solid academic foundation in the field.
